I’m honored to have known Lan for over 16 years as a dear friend and colleague.  Together we have raised our families in Arroyo Grande, coached youth sports, participated in numerous PTA events, served together on the Arroyo Grande Planning Commission and currently serve together on the CAP-SLO board of directors.  Throughout this time I have known Lan to be a person of the highest integrity.  She cares about doing what is right and making this world a better place.  She is a true leader.  She always comes prepared and is not afraid to ask the hard questions and make the difficult decisions.  She has my unconditional support because I know she will do what is best for this community that we both love.

We endorse Lan. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her in the Community. She’s genuine and transparent.

I know her heart, I trust her judgment, and I value her dedication.  That’s why I am endorsing Lan George. She has the experience, integrity and compassion to listen to her constituents, research the issues and make decisions that are best for the City of Arroyo Grande.

Without a doubt, Lan is one of the most thoughtful, altruistic, and intelligent people we know in Arroyo Grande.  We have firsthand knowledge of her dedication to her family and our community.   She also has a deep passion for our city, local businesses, the central coast and what is best for all.  Ms. George is a great listener with perspective and hands-on problems solving skills.  We believe our city members would hold Lan George in very high esteem with her strong qualities that would make her an excellent city council member. 

Lan George embodies the spirit of community that pervades Arroyo Grande. She knows the unique character of our city thrives because so many parts work together to serve the whole. As a longtime AGHS Booster president, I had the great honor to work beside Lan for many years as we supported one of those parts, the student athletes of our beloved high school. Her desire to continue her legacy of service by renewing her commitment to the City Council inspires hope for a better future. The world, more than ever, needs people like Lan!

Lan exhibits enthusiastic devotion to our community. As a councilperson, she is prepared and thorough in her knowledge of local issues, and thoughtful in her deliberations. She sees the long term impact of her decisions, and her vision for the future of Arroyo Grande bodes well for our collective health and wealth.
